• Location: Transportation Center, 6400 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64133
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (with overtime as needed)

• Diagnose and repair automotive/light and medium-duty truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule
• Coordinate and direct shop staff, resources, communications, and activities to assure agency vehicles are maintained in safe and proper operating condition
• Assign and distribute daily workload to shop staff as needed
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and troubleshoot maintenance issues; train other Eitas automotive technicians in diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed
• Manage and operate the vehicle Whip Around System: update unit status, ensure repairs are signed off on as completed, and schedule routine maintenance
• Serve as liaison between the shop, DOT management, and external customers

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of automotive/light and medium-duty truck/van repair and diagnostic experience, including brake systems, primary and/or advanced fuel systems, ignition, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems, electrical systems, and proficiency in scan tool diagnostics — OR a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent and would provide the required knowledge and abilities
• Minimum of 4 ASE certifications, including Refrigeration, Recycling, and Recovery
• (Eitas will assist in obtaining AC Certification)
• Commercial Driver’s License
• (Eitas will assist in obtaining a CDL)
• Missouri Motor Vehicle Inspection License
• (Eitas will assist in obtaining MVI)
• Good driving record
